16th Annual Whatcom Artist Studio Tour 2010 

October 2 - 3 and October 9 - 10

In October 2010, 51 of some of Whatcom County's finest artists will participate in the 15th Annual Whatcom Artists Studio Tour. I'm thrilled to announce that I along with other artist collegues, will open our studios up to the public for two weekends. It's going to be a fabulous event!

This is your chance to see your favorite artists at work in their studios, and to shop for fine arts and crafts in a casual yet intimate setting. Whether you're a long time collector or you are just beginning a collection, the tour is a perfect way to become even more familiar with our fine city - and the fabulous array of professional artists working within our community! Participating artists in this year's Studio Tour include the following art media :

Clay; Glass; Jewellry; Mixed Media; Other (Leather); Painting; Photography; Sculpture; Wood.

I'm pleased to announce that in addition to an array of oil and acrylic paintings, Particulars Studio will also feature a new line of artworks : hand-glazed ceramic firepots, and handcrafted glass art bird and hummingbird feeders.

Each ceramic and art glass item is a work of art, and no two are exactly the same - I'm excited to be able to expand my studio offerings to include other works of art, for the home and garden!

Come have a chat and share a story or two - see my new work, my garden studio, and perhaps even make a new friend along the way! Parking in my neighborhood can be a challenge, so you may need to walk a step or two to get here. For those of you who love walking our trail system, I'm located right off the Roosevelt Trail system. Click here for a map to my studio. My studio will be open each day to the general public, from 10am to 5pm. There's no need to phone ahead, just come and enjoy!

On October 2rd and 9th, I'll also be hosting an invitation only get-together soiree from 6 to 8pm, featuring music, complimentary wine, and h'ors doeuvres. (You supply the tantalizing conversation!) If you'd like to be included in the fun, please RSVP with the number of guests in your party, and I'll add you to the list! BUT HURRY - a limited number of folks can only be accommodated, so commit quickly!
