Is your site secure? 
Particulars Studio is especially vigilant when it comes to customer concerns about security on the internet, and this is why we only use a secure, third-party hosting company to process all transactions on secure servers. That service is Paypal, the most secure online payment facility out there, offering customers the highest level of security when entering credit card and shipping details over the internet. When you register or simply log into Paypal's site, verification that your internet browser is running Secure Sockets Layer 3.0 (SSL) or higher occurs through Paypal. Paypal protects all sensitive information and data exchanges (in transit between parties) with SSL encryption using a key length of 128 bits - the highest encryption level commercially available. Is all the information I provide on your website confidential? 
Yes. All information you provide on this website for the purposes of either purchasing artwork items, subscribing to my Art Matters newsletter, or joining my event notification list is confidential. I will neither sell nor divulge your information to anyone without your permission - EVER. Further to this, information about your credit card is not stored locally on my site, and used only by Paypal, an encrypted secure payment service provider. When you use PayPal to pay online, you provide only your PayPal email address. This means that as an online merchant, I receive payment from PayPal without ever seeing your financial information - your sensitive financial information is securely stored on Paypal's servers, and nowhere else. What is Paypal, and how does it work? 
Paypal is a third-party processing service that provides a fast, easy, and secure way for individuals and companies to do business online. The service allows members to send money without sharing financial information, and provides users with the flexibility to pay for merchandise and services in variety of ways. What payment methods can I use to make a purchase? 
For your security, payments are processed through Paypal, making your transactions both reliable  and secure. Particulars Studio accepts all major credit cards, personal checks, debit card payments, as well as good old cash. However not all payment forms are appropriate to a situation, (for example.....please don't send me cash in the mail....). Customers can order and pay online, by telephone, by regular mail, or in person. All pricing is noted in US Dollars. Charges for purchased items will show up on customer billing as a payment entry to "Particulars Studio".
Do I need to be registered to buy? 
No. You can purchase items from particularsstudio.com without the need to register as a customer, either on my website or through Paypal; an account with Paypal is not required to complete a transaction.
How can I add items to my shopping cart? 
To add an item, simply click the "add to shopping cart" button located below the item. This will automatically add the item to your shopping cart. 
How can I see what's in my shopping cart? 
You can view the contents of your shopping cart at any time, by clicking on the "view cart link" at the top of each page. 
How do I remove an item from my shopping cart? 
If you've added an item to your shopping cart and no longer wish to purchase it - no problem! Simply access your shopping cart and click the "remove" button next to the item you don't wish to buy. This will automatically delete the item from your shopping cart. 
Can I change or cancel my order? 
An order can be cancelled or amended at anytime, provided it hasn't already been dispatched for delivery. Contact me right away, to determine which cancellation options best apply to your situation. Orders that have shipped can still be returned according to guidelines posted on my Return Policy page. To add additional items to your order, or to change any other aspects of your order, (such as delivery address for example), please contact me so I can help with processing. 
What if an item just isn't quite right - can I return it? 
I take great pride in my work, creating each item at Particulars Studio with deliberate care and attention to detail. My goal is to meet - and preferably exceed customer standards for quality and service. However, sometimes a thing just doesn't work out for a variety of reasons. More important than any sale, is my relationship with you, my customer;  I want you to be happy with your purchase.  Therefore items may be exchanged or returned in accordance with the terms and conditions described on my Return Policy page. 
How soon will I receive my order? 
Most processed orders are shipped within a day. However processing time may be subject to stock availability and/or shipping method. Art cards are typically delivered within 3-5 business days, whereas paintings may require a longer lead time : 8 - 14 business days, depending on destination. At the time you place your order, the expected lead time for items is prominently displayed in your shopping cart. You can depend on this information being generally accurate as regards planning your purchase and delivery.
